Welcome to Built Environment Consulting Services New Zealand (Becs-nz)

Founded in 2016 by Jay Allison, our company specializes in providing architectural consulting services to the built environment sector. With international experience in mechanical engineering design and architectural design in various sectors such as residential, commercial, religious, sports, and industrial, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality architectural solutions to our clients.

Jay Allison brings with him 16 years of experience in mechanical engineering design at an international manufacturing company, Bell Equipment, before transitioning to the architectural industry in 2009. He holds an associate degree in architecture from the San Francisco Institute of Architecture and has completed over 250 architectural plans since then.

Having worked on projects in New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa, Jay has collaborated with renowned companies such as the Summerset Group, Miyamoto International, Gravitas, Warren Mahoney, and Frontier Engineers. Jay is a registered professional member of ADNZ and a licensed building practitioner with LBP Design 2 accreditation (BP138844).

Our expertise include residential, commercial, religious, and industrial architectural design, as well as high spec log homes in collaboration with local log home companies. We have completed projects in Melbourne Australia, Auckland, Burkes Pass Christchurch, Christchurch Central, Central Hawkes Bay, Coalgate, Darfield, Mt Lyford, Rangiora, Rolleston, Stoney Creek - Westcoast and various other towns across New Zealand.

We strive to provide architectural documentation services in a 5 week turn around time as we are aware that time is money and people want to get on to the construction phase quickly.
